"Experimental" means that I am still looking into making that feature work better and it may have some issues so you can choose to enable it or not knowing this. None of the issues are game breaking.

I updated the link for the download to fix an issue where the background color of the patcher would sometimes appear incorrect depending on your windows settings. If anyone had that issue, it should be gone now.

Hey guys.

Unfortunately my TRAOD_P4 is crashing after I tested the new release

It's probably because the old modifications I've done in the past.

By the way... out of curiosity. What version of the TRAOD_P4 are you all using?

@reborninshadows what's your discord ID? Can I add you there?

Just realized that the version I use is .49 one.

I'm actually so sad right now because I looked forward all day to test the game when I got home from work and didn't work for me. I use the .49 version because it's a modded version from sasho with camera relative controls, since I play AOD with a joystick.

@reborninshadows I don't have a clue about coding so sorry if it's a dumb question but is there a way of replicting those changes to a .49 executable? or the opposite: to enable the camera + camera relative controls in the .52 version?

Yes they can be replicated there but I made the patcher with v52 in mind so that's why it's not compatible. I didn't know that one was done in .49 at all. I can update it to be compatible with .49 as well when I have the time.

Is it also possible for you to add the 100% running anim speed fix to this patch? It is included in Sasho's patch, but that patch also has a few other features that quite a lot of people don't really like. I really can't play the game anymore with the slow running animation.

I will eventually add that, for now you can use LateRaider's Tank Plus and customize that with my patcher. It doesn't have any of the additional features besides faster running.
