I agree...but it applies on both side. Never they said they will announce something this year and never they said they will never announce something before next year.

They could have said that but then people would expect an announcement literally the next day. The end of the year is still this year. |

... Yes ?
Oh maybe should I say "before next year" ? Anyway I only wanted to say they never literally excluded 2021(as it was implied some posts ago), it's up to anyone's interpretation of "near future". This, it doesn't sound far-stretch or delusional in my book. Last edited by Chamayoo; 21-04-21 at 21:41. |

Yeah, I'm not the type to throw a "temper tantrum" over a game but I feel like some don't understand the point of speculating. I remember when people were skeptical about Shadow debuting its trailer in movie theaters and they did exactly just that.

To me I think, December of 2021 doesn't come under near future and a teaser/announcement can be expected from December as it would be a fine closure to the celebrations but I'd still try to keep my expectations low. It could be possible that by Near future they meant no announcement in E3, SE Presents, Gamescom, TGS etc... But what if TGA?! Hmmmm... only Time will tell.

The Game Awards reveal wouldn't be unreasonable but I think E3 2022 is more likely. If not even Game Awards 2022.

I think some of it might depend on what's happening with the Avengers game. They might not want to have a big TR announcement whilst major Avenger's updates are still happening.
I personally don't expect anything this year, although I'd be happy to have some news. In September, it will be 3 years since Shadow released which will be a fair amount of time. Last edited by Blackmoor; 23-04-21 at 21:41. |
