Such a good series!

Make sure to watch the BBC adaptations when you're done reading the books.

I read the translated version when I was in elementary school (although reading the original English text is still a little difficult for me now), at that time I could only feel that it was just an ordinary fairy tale, and now I understand that this book is full of religious metaphors ( I don't know much about Christian), as a child I could only see that Aslan=Jesus (this is too obvious).
Talking Mouse Reepicheep and that prophetic poem totally infected me now.

The new ones are good too. But the original ones have something nostalgic and adorable about them. Also, nothing more quintessentially British than Lucy in that show:

Oh Goodness that's bringing back childhood memories I used to have the VHS it was in a huge box with two video tapes in it.

I distinctly remember Lucy looking like a 40 year old, good to see my memory hasn't changed.

I had those massive VHS boxes too, for the whole series. Silver Chair was my favorite. Puddleglum ftw.

I think currently they're all free to watch on YT.

I think we will have a trailer really close to the release date. Netflix always releases trailer weeks before a show starts, so I wouldn't worry too much.
I hope it turns out great !

I'm going to place my bets on an autumn/winter release.

I still hope for Spring or Summer but who knows. It could be announced tomorrow or much later. With such short marketing window with Netflix, everything is possible.

It should come out in the summer. Tomb Raider is a big summer blockbuster brand. Makes you want to go outside and do adventure stuff. They should capitalize on it.

Or spring is even better because it will get people hyped up for the summer while they're still sort of inside to watch. But sometimes air-conditioning in the summer is the perfect excuse to stay home and binge.
