Default TombIDE Issue

Hey there!

I'm able to use Tomb Editor to create a level and play it in game - this is what I started doing (i'm new to this!)

But I want to create a TombIDE project and create it correctly. The project creates but I get an error of

TRNG DIAGNOSTIC
Critical Error: Missing Script.DAT file

then another popup
Critical Error: cannot find <language>.dat file in the current trle path

I see both of these files in the script folder of the project?

Anyone? I can record a screen recording if it helps?

Have you built the script of your level? Go to Script editor and then "build script"

Even if I start fresh though it doesn't seem to work - I get the same errors. I can't use TombIDE while Tomb Editor seems to work on it's own ?

Are the files located in Program files(x86)? If so move them away from that folder since it's protected by Windows for some reasons

So this is what happens when I open up TombIDE and create a Project;

I downloaded TRLE before I download TE - Would that be an issue?

Maybe you should try run TombIDE as an administrator.

Right click on "TombIDE" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check "Run this program as an administator" -> Click Apply to save changes.

I hope this will solve your problem.

Umm... how is there no partition letter in the path?

It should be like C:\\mypath\mypath\myfolder
but for you it's just \\mypath\mypath\myfolder

That is 101% the issue.
Are you running Windows 10 on a virtual machine?
