Welcome to my Glitchless Secrets No Kills Run for Tomb Raider 3.

A No Kills Run is where you complete the game while only performing mandatory kills. A Secrets No Kills Run is where you complete the game while only performing mandatory kills and collecting all of the secrets. A Glitchless No Kills Run is where you complete the game while only performing mandatory kills and not using any glitches. A Glitchless Secrets No Kills Run is where you complete the game while only performing mandatory kills, collecting all of the secrets and not using any glitches.

This is a Glitchless Secrets No Kills Run, where I have to complete the whole of Tomb Raider 3 while only performing mandatory kills, collecting all of the secrets and not using any glitches. In this video I complete Jungle, the first level of the India section and first level of the entire game. There were no mandatory kills in this level and I was successful with not killing any enemies who didn't need to be killed and therefore my number of kills begins at zero. I collected all of the secrets and didn't use any glitches.

Using the path at 2:23 saves me from triggering a tiger. I jumped into the water at 8:43 as a way of returning to the start of the level so that I could use the jump at 10:22 to get to the end of the level instead of continuing the normal way. It's vital to be very quick with collecting the key at 11:05 or else the monkey will grab it and won't let go of it unless you kill him, which wouldn't be allowed in this challenge as he isn't a mandatory kill.

This is not my first Pacifist Challenge for a Tomb Raider game. Infact, I have done the following Pacifist Challenges for the following Tomb Raider games:

Interesting, you took shortcuts that I didn't know about. I'll have try those the next time I play the Jungle level.
I'm currently in the South Pacific levels hunting for the kuma-kuma stone (as the fasting villager calls it). After that, it's off to Antarctica for the final show-down.

There were two mandatory kills in this level; Shiva Statues. I was successful with not killing any enemies who didn't need to be killed and therefore my number of kills increases to two. I collected all of the secrets and didn't use any glitches.

The jump at 0:25 is handy for saving a bit of time. When I enter the area at 2:21 I wanted to delay the triggering of the Shiva Statue for as long as possible so that I could make as much progress in that area before needing to worry about the Shiva Statue. Reaching the two switches at 12:08 and 12:12 couldn't have been done without triggering the Shiva Statue, but I saw to everything else in that area that could've been seen to up until that point. I used the shotgun to take down the Shiva Statues at 19:37 and 20:20. With the Shiva Statues that I couldn't kill, I just tried to evade them best I could.

I do use various shortcuts when doing pacifist runs. I don't use every shortcut though; some shortcuts cost a lot of health and probably wouldn't be worth doing if they only save time. I'm mostly interested in the shortcuts that save time without costing health. I'm also after the shortcuts that save health, as well as the shortcuts that save you from needing to kill enemies who you would otherwise need to kill. All the best with South Pacific and Antarctica.

Thanks Greenapple968. Are you going to do a glitchless secrets no kill run for TR Revelation and TR Chronicles?

A good thing about the quad bike is that killing enemies with it doesn't show on the statistics as kills, enabling you to help yourself to some free kills in this level. I used the quad bike to kill monkeys at 7:43, 10:25 and 10:27 as well as birds at 10:56, 10:57, 10:58, 11:04 and 11:34. The removal of the monkeys didn't make much difference but the removal of the birds would've helped with the tail-end of the level, particularly the final two secrets.

I already have done a Glitchless Secrets No Kills Run for those games; there's a link to them in my first post in this thread.

There was one mandatory kill in this level; Tony. I was successful with not killing any enemies who didn't need to be killed and therefore my number of kills increases to three. I collected all of the secrets and didn't use any glitches.

I took the longer route when proceeding through the start of the level because I find it easier than the faster route. I killed Tony at 2:51 and used the shotgun to take him out. I then collected the small medipack after killing Tony because that way I could collect it without being under attack.

The shortcut at 1:52 saves a bit of time, although the birds can make this shortcut difficult to pull off by knocking you about. The bird at 2:46 has the ability to be very annoying, but I managed to take care of him by luring him into getting himself killed by the water at around 3:42. I then backtracked for the secret at 5:14 since there was no longer the issue with the bird. The shortcut at 14:13 made the ending of the level quicker and easier.

Granted that you haven't reached the Antarctica levels yet, but I vaguely remember that there's a way to end the level without killing the spider-Willard. I'll have to research it and get back to you about it. Happy gaming Greenapple968!

That must be difficult: Tomb Raider III has slightly better graphics than Tomb Raider II, more puzzles, difficult seems similar to that of II. But the skill needed to pull all this off seemed essential.
