Default Godzilla: King of Monsters

So this was revealed at San Diego Comic Con

Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and Ghidora all in one movie. I will bring extra underpants to the theater.

Apparently, this has ties to Kong: Skull Island, so I will have to re-watch that movie because I was aware we were making a "universe."

Looks nice, but i hope that this time they focus less on the humans and more on the Monsters.

This looks great. I loved the Godzilla and Skull Island movies. Apparently they're building up these movies to Godzilla vs Kong.

I would have posted this in the Godzilla thread but I was the last poster there so...

This looks really, really good. The Titans are quite faithful, and I love the small changes to Godzilla himself (1954 dorsal plates, much more powerful atomic breath). Bear McCreary will be doing the score, and will be using Akira Ifukube's Godzilla themes.

Also, apparently you will have to look out for other Titans too: Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra and Ghidorah aren't the only ones.

You can post after yourself if you time has passed and you are sharing new information.

I simply prefer specific threads over general threads. It's easier to avoid spoilers and I think it facilitates better discussion because everyone is discussing the same thing.

Good for her. I'm not really interested though. There's been so much Godzilla lately.

I remember doing just that in the run up to Terminator Genisys and I got warned for it so that's why I was apprehensive to do so.

I can appreciate that.

So moving back to the topic at hand, did anybody else like how you don't actually get to see Mothra, Rodan and Ghidorah beyond silhouettes? I really, really hope the trailers remain that way (even if one of the posters released at SDCC kind of gave away Ghidorah's look) - it leaves something to anticipate for the film. I'm also hoping the trailers don't spoil much of the Titan fights either.

And given what's in the trailer, it has me wondering... how on Earth can Kong hope to stand up to Godzilla in 2020?

Is this a sequel to the 2014 film or did they reboot Godzilla again?
