Bit late but I love that The Chase had a FF question. They do have the most random questions! I think they had a Zelda one today.

I still haven't played much of XV. Hopefully in 2020 I'll be able to enjoy it in full when all the story content is finally in its place.

I want to get into FF so so bad, but I just can't do it and I don't know why is that.

From what I've seen (vids on YouTube) everything about it seems nice and well done. Ugh, I just wish I had the opportunity to play every single game.

Oh well, I guess it might happen one day, until then I'll try and study the game more. Also, are they releasing the game in order (1, 2, 3...) or there are different "worlds" that somehow connect the game (as in: First game connects with 3rd IDK)?

Every numbered installment is set in a separate universe with brand new characters. So, for example, 15 is unrelated to, let's say, 10 (and the rest of the FF games). The only games that share universes and characters are sequels (10 and 10-2; 13 and 13-2/Lightning Returns). You can start with any game from the main series without worrying about not having played the rest.

Oooh, well that's nice to hear I think. But TBH I completely went crazy about FF when I watched FF15 walkthrough. Landscapes are amazing, music too!
I'll probably watch cutscenes or walkthroughs on YouTube for the rest FF games, cause, like I said, I won't play anything any time soon.

Why won't you just play them?
Watching a walkthrough is nothing like experiencing a game yourself.

My PC is pretty weak, so I doubt I can run it. And I don't own any console either.

If you're set on FF XV, why not try the Pocket Edition? This gives you a pretty bare-bones experience through the story. Granted, it's nothing like the experiences on PC or consoles.

Or, you might find that you can actually run it on lower settings.

If you're interested in the series as a whole, a lot of the older titles will definitely be playable on some of the oldest of machines, and many are available in fairly shoddy ports on Steam.

Or, you could pick up a used PS2 for almost nothing and grab the entire back catalogue from 1-12. The only things you'll miss out on are 11 (MMO), 13/13-2/13-3 (PS3), 14 (MMO) and 15 (PS4).
