But if there's absolutely ZERO, null, nada intersecrion betwen them then what's the point of announcing it? In such case there already IS a TR multiverse that doesn't intersect between its timelines

I don’t think the multiverse model necessarily requires interaction between the universes it is composed of, but they should at least coexist in the same timeframe. At this point, the whole idea of having two separate TRs is more about unifying the fan base than creating a bridge between games from different eras. |

Maybe if the franchise utilized the concept within its story itself at least once, Crystal would be more keen to explore/greenlight projects from other timelines developed and released concurrently. Otherwise they're clearly focused only on 1 timeline at a given time and there's not much reason to suspect their stance could change without some significant developement making them change their minds Last edited by Pietras; 31-10-24 at 00:18. |

Why can't you understand the simple basic premise that none of the Lara will be erased by the unification process ?
Peoples can still play the remaster collection If they want or LAU. I think you are trying to over complicate everything when the solution is rather simple. Survivor Lara is the base for the origins of the character then she live in her late 20th some of the adventures lived by classic Lara (1/2/3) with some adjustments for the latter one (4/5/6) in a modern fashion (obviously not in the 90s). By the years she evolve with her adventures into the Legend Lara wich is already mostly there in the Netlix show and then we pick up from that point in her life. Mostly it's just like what's said in Legend those adventures have happened to the character and that's it. No need for a reboot or a multiverse (which is rather overplayed now by the pop culture) Tomb Raider style game. We control a Lara that is confident, witty, but also empathic towards others. It's not that complicated. Last edited by Ellioft; 31-10-24 at 04:13. |

But it's still a reboot continuation.
Since Shadow they wanted to tie in to TR's first adventure. |

I say no to the multiverse idea, it's unoriginal, based on trends and overplayed. It won't work. I would rather have the current version of Lara forced into becoming the classic Lara as promised.
