Wink Do You Seriously Think That This Is The Deck?!

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDw1Mcr1mhM

The video begins with me in a level which looks a lot like The Deck, except there are a lot of abnormalities with the level. Many parts of the level are not how they should be. I explore and expose you to most of what's on show, before then revealing that the level isn't The Deck but is actually Living Quarters. I managed to bypass the end of level trigger for Living Quarters and then explored parts of the level that you're not meant to be able to explore. The fact that the level was Living Quarters is why we encountered many abnormalities. I finish by showing you myself triggering the end of Living Quarters.

I then show you other examples of me bypassing the end of level triggers for levels in Tomb Raider 2. I showed you myself bypassing the end of level trigger for 40 Fathoms and Floating Islands, but neither of them had much to offer.

I tried bypassing the end of level triggers in Tomb Raider 1 for a couple of levels. It looked probable that I would be able to bypass the end of level triggers for Lost Valley and Tomb Of Tihocan. However, I was unsuccessful. The conclusion that I've come to is that all of the tiles surrounding the end of level trigger are also triggers for the end of the level. Therefore, it looks like we won't be having any joy with Tomb Raider 1.

I also include clips from Tomb Raider 3. I bypassed the end of level trigger for Thames Wharf and there were a fair few interesting sights to show. There were also clips from Nevada Desert but not featuring any attempt to try and bypass end of level triggers. Instead, the clips involved me grabbing onto the ledge of the fence at the end and pull up while doing a handstand, just to try and complete the level in a more amusing way.

I did a Nevada Desert end level trigger bypass using the flicker motion bug.

Edit: It was discovered by rrcarroll in 2006.08.20, and refined by xtimz in 2011.04.01.

@ Greenapple: Wow, that is odd! Thanks for showing us that. I'd also like to know how you were able to get to this level which clearly isn't The Deck level.

It just required the use of a glitch. One of the more basic glitches which enabled me to avoid triggering the end of Living Quarters and then explore further.

the end level trigger is just a one square one, you can skip it by clipping through the wall, a very known thing
