Cool so on sunday I decided to be spontanious and try Meta, I downloaded the latest version (at least I think). So I have been practicing, not sure if I am doing it right, not sure how to optimize vertices for quality and that fun stuff, but these don't need to have a limit for the LE.
I have some questions to go with these screens. 1. How do I register Meta? apparently in order to export these objects as different filetypes I need to register. 1. How do I texture them? is it possible in Meta? |

1. You don't. You download the other version.
1. You texture them with StrPix. Yes, you can texture them in Meta, although I don't recommend it as it is absolutely pointless because you can't really import it like that in your wad. |

These are not going into a WAD...they are being used for a different program.
Thanks for the advice on my questions. |

It's also 64bit compatible. Objects are looking nice and natural, though. Great. Last edited by Niveus; 04-05-10 at 01:18. |

It's basically tweetygwee's Metasequoia tutorial here on TRF. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=115107 I built everything according to the tutorial and then changed and added some parts. The tutorial is all about the basics but it's awesome how many things you can create with just these few tricks mentioned there. |

I dont believe Titak swaps axes anymore cause if you want to use reStrText you cannot use it and it is very handy if you are gonna retexture complicated meshes. There are more tutorials. A pity that the tutorial section is limited and you cannot look through the pages until you set the display options from the beginning. So I hope people have not forget mine here wich also gives good starting tips:
http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=115344 With extrude commands you can create the same candle in minutes. Last edited by Piega; 04-05-10 at 19:39. |

Titak made a sticky Tutorial Index in the tutorials section to make finding tutorials easier.
