Tomb Raider II FMVs remastered to 4K 60FPS!

Hello.

The past few days I've been working to get 60FPS FMVs into TR2, the reason behind this is that while LeonDeka's FMVs are great, they lack to smoother framerates of Lwmte's 30FPS TR2 FMVs.

Using LeonDeka's upscaled FMVs as a base, I ran each FMV through a video editor software and interpolated each FMV to display 4x as many frames.

The original FMVs and LeonDeka's Upscaled FMVs both run at 15FPS and look very choppy on todays TVs and monitors.

So my intention is to give the best of both by using LeonDeka's already great upscales and quadrupling the FPS from 15FPS to 60FPS.

I uploaded these videos on YouTube to give you an example of what I've done.

FAQ:

Why do some animations look like they are missing frames?

Core Design made the FMVs to run at 15FPS and while frame interpolation can help, it won't solve it completely. I attempted to use enhanced interpolation but this caused camera cuts to interpolate too which ruins the video.

Can I use these in TR2?

Yes!

They require TR2Main or Peixoto's patch but I have tested them ingame myself and they work flawlessly. They are MP4 video files.

When will they be available to download?

Right now, the file size is quite big (2.49GB!) but the upgrade in quality is worth it imo.
