Tomb Raider 2.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the Oil Rig/Maria Doria levels but I think it strikes a good balance between the well-designed levels of 1 while having the extra features from later games without ever hitting any of the unfair moments all later Core-Design games have.

Tomb Raider 3, although you need to get into the intricacies of the franchise to enjoy how complex the first two games got by this one, before The Last Revelation toned difficulty down for ambience and cohesion.

I consider this to be a challenging entry for those who have just gotten used to movement controls, combat and platforming, hence why it's not for everyone getting into it.

Tomb Raider 3 is clearly the best one!!!
Don't lie to yourselves people. TR2 has way too many garish underwater levels. Remember them. And the heart attack EAL of death.

AOD for me always. Not only was it the first TR game I played, but it was also the very first game I ever played in gaming.

The story will always hold a special place in my heart and I'm lucky to have not been spoiled by gameplay either. The PS2 version was probably the best choice

Just wish it could have been finished

I love TR2, TRL and TRA the same way. But my wishes for a remake made me vote TR2.
