BTW I thought I was very clearly talking about the combat mechanics only. Nothing else.

Probably the people that made those animations and coding are new employers that crystal dynamics hired for the avenger game but It will for sure be really disappointing to not see that kind of stuff in future tomb raider games since they already have those implemented for black widow .

It matters very little because it has absolutely zero impact in the game. It isnt like you can fail a jump or have to calculate the jumps.

That was never a core feature of the gameplay though so i think its an unfair comparison.

Well, it matters to me and I'm sure to a lot of people. The level of restriction RE has in that aspect is not even comparable to what we currently have in TR.

What is unfair is to compare RE's jumping mechanic to the white ledges. I wouldn't even want to imagine what this place would be like if they decided to restrict jumps to that level.
