Default What were the first 5 videogames you ever played?

Mine were....
  1. Space Invaders - which I found boring and panic inducing as it got more intense.
  2. Sonic the Hedgehog - I was hooked immediately. I spent long hours playing this game and its sequels
  3. Altered Beast - I remember it as a kind of fighting game that was very dull and not my kind of thing at all.
  4. Tomb Raider 1 - what really got me hooked on video gaming. Yes, I'd played Sonic the Hedgehog and been really into it but I wasn't interested in gaming beyond that until I played TR.
  5. Resident Evil 2 - another one of the games that I still love to this day. Which just reinforced how great gaming was after playing TR 1.

If you can try to list actual games and in order.

And what you thought of them.

Edit: I've just remembered I also played James Pond 2 and Micromachines somewhere between 2 and 3 on my list. Can't even remember it right myself!

My first games were on the SNES, but at this point I can't even recall most of them by name.

Chip n Dale - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj2TvIxCakA
Dr.Mario - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNwKF9AsV90
Super Mario Bros - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qirrV8w5SQ
Tiny Toon Adventures - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqnjXaRIq9Y

Aaaand, that's all I can recall by name. I also had this game where you were doing I think Olympic or some sort of sports competition. I tried to google, but I could only find this Olympic vaulting game and I didn't have that. I can also recall a Mickey Mouse game, but no luck identifying that either. I've had many more games for the SNES, but these are the ones that stuck the most, Tiny Toon Adventures especially, because the girl next door also had it and we were always competing who could get the furthest without dying.
My signature was removed because it was vulgar. Now I can't choose my own till March 2014. If I edit this one I will be suspended till March 2014.

I started off playing the console my dad owned which was around 1993. So it was all pretty much SMS at home. I didn't get a PS1 until '98 by which time I had already spent my early years playing 8-bit games or 16-bit if I was around my friend's houses. I still prefer SMS Sonic 1 to Mega Drive. Jungle and Bridge zone are superior, plus sonic moved faster than the horribly slow Sonic 1 PAL version for Mega Drive.

I'm pretty confident Alex the Kidd was the first though as it came 'built in' the console. Sonic 1 and 2 came along around the same time. Golden Axe was way too difficult for me to complete.

Alex the Kidd (Sega Master System) - so underrated these days

Sonic 1 (Sega Master System) - As above

Sonic 2 (Sega Master System) - Didn't like this one as much but the minecart, paraglider, the bubble you could float around in and original boss fights were all neat touches.

Summer Games (Sega Master System) - made in 1984 around the time SMS
was released and it shows.

Tetris (Gameboy) - The OG daddy.

Tomb Raider 2 (my first TR game) was probably something like my 20-25th game lol I had SMS 1993-1995 then SNES 1995-1998 before then getting a PlayStation and even then I played Sentient, Psybadek, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VIII, Mission Impossible, Roll Cage, Gran Turismo, Tekken and Soul Calibur first oh and those Net Yaroze games you had on demo discs.

My first 5 games are literally the 5 TR classics in this order :

1# Tomb Raider 4 .
2# Tomb Raider 3 .
3# Tomb Raider 2 .
4# Tomb Raider 1 .
5# Tomb Raider 5 .

Started around February 2002 , took me several months to beat TR4 playing nothing but it for hours each day , after finishing it I became sort of "experienced" IIRC beating TR1 and Chronicles took me 2-3 days each I think , TR2 around 4-5 days , and TR3 one week . 2002 was a year of pure Tomb Raider

After that my gaming memory is a bit patchy , but I recall that MK and Twisted Metal were some of my very early games .
The extraordinary is in what we do , not in our hairstyle...

My first gaming experiences should be around 2002, 7 years old back then.

1. Atout-clic
A French educative game. Point & click, with educative mini games.

2. Rayman CE1
It's Rayman 1 basically, but transformed as an educative game for 7 years old French students.

3. Harry Potter 2 (PC version)
My love for games started there, especially for my favourite genre : action adventure. Most probably the longer and most complete game of the franchise.

4. Harry Potter 3 (PC version)
Maybe my favourite from the franchise.

5. Harry Potter 1 (PC version)
Not the best but the atmosphere is quite unique.

Then Chicken Little and finally TR Legend.

Geez, it's hard to remember that far back.

For sure (1) was Oregon Trail.

(2) Games on the 2600, I remember the combat game.

3, 4 and 5 - I remember the first arcade games I played, Asteroids and Lunar Lander, and Pac-Man.
Fancy dropping down for a chat, then?

No idea but Tomb Raider 2-5, Harry Potter 1-4, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, The Lion King and Tarzan are definitely among the first games I've played with my mom. All on PC

Ooh, this is kind of hard to remember for me. I think it was something like this?

1. Sonic 2
2. Tomb Raider 1
3. Tomb Raider 2
4. Monkey Island 2
5. Secret of Monkey Island

Not much variety, but then again, I’ve always had a small circle of interests.

EDIT: Fixed my list, since I forgot a few games.
-high-pitched- AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! *bone crack*
