I think we have all mellowed a bit around here because we genuinely don't know what will happen with this film. It's very exciting.

I am happy that it was not cancelled.

I think we are just happy that we got a second chance. Things were so dark ... let's just enjoy that.

If anything, the journey to the second Alicia movie is also movie-worthy material. So many twists and drama!

I'm kind of ready for them to go a lighter adventure route with it to be honest. I wouldn't mind if we got something a bit more like The Mummy.

I hope you're talking about the 1999 Mummy and not the 2018 with Tomelon Cruse

Nah, he is talking about the 1932 original.

Honestly, I am perfectly fine with the tone of the 2018 movie. It was serious when it needed to be, but also quite light hearted when appropriate. For me, the sequel just needs to be more grandiose with its action and set-pieces.

I did like the tone of the first but I would be lying if I said I didn't want to see monsters and dual pistols in the sequel.

In an idea world I'd love to have Lara fighting off dinosaurs in the tropical jungle and huge tombs with mummies or living statues in them.

I do like that Misha is atleast coming off the back of a fantasy background and isn't afraid to use magic or creatures in her show.

Oh, I if we're talking about bringing duals, and supernatural elements, of course I am all for it! Make that part of my "make action more grandiose" wish.

But while I am more than open to possible supernatural monsters, and mummies and statues coming to life, and everything in between, for some reason I just don't want Dino's in a Tomb Raider movie. Unless if it is adapting TRI, of course. I dunno, call it an unpopular opinion, but I don't understand why so many are obsessed with dino's in Tomb Raider. They were a great moment on TRI, but that's honestly it. TRII's and III's inclusion of them just felt like they were there purely because TRI also had dinosaurs.
