At this point I agree. It most likely changes nothing Misha is still actively writing as we know and these sale discussions have probably been going on for a while. Also MGM is one of the three major studios with deals and stakes in this so I think and hope we are safe for now.

NYTimes elaborated that DeLuca presented the slate to them for upcoming films so Tomb Raider is probably included in that.

Really hope the next film has an even bigger budget. I want to see a fast paced adventure around the world with some intense action scenes.

The new Mortal Kombat in my opinion looked as good as Tomb Raider and only had half the budget it did I think its possible to still make a bigger scale film if you have the right team.

Yes exactly.

Bigger budget doesn’t mean anything if you don’t know what you’re doing with it. They could easily get a really amazing Tomb Raider film done at a budget of sub-50-million.

Misha seemed to work well with the budget on her TV shows too. There were nice costumes, effects and sets that were very cinematic.

I know Lovecraft Country probably had a higher budget for the average series but it wasn't Game of Thrones or Marvel series budgeted in comparison.

In Spain they broadcast the film a year ago in open air and it was the most viewed film of the week.

They also sometimes show Angelina's movies in the afternoon and are always audience leaders. They are light and agile movies to watch and work well with the public.

I know I'm weird but I really liked Dark Phoenix, I don't know maybe it was the Italian dub (because I've heard people say that the Jean actress's act was bad)...

It had moments don't get me wrong. But it's definitely the weakest entry to the series looking back maybe marginally better than Apocolypse if even but I'm a massive comic fan and that's my favourite storyline so to see an unfaithful adaption done twice aggrivated me.
