Yeah, I nearly expected as much when you think physical sets that take up the entire sound stage according to Vikander... Like sound stages are big, so for a set to take up the entire thing. I think if the story is good there'll be no issues, it'll do a Jumanji but it NEEDS to be good as word of mouth really made that film make money.

Also not only Tomb Raider fans but if the film is good I think the entire video game community will turn out and support it.

Also Lara will get a lot of advertising in places people don't expect like toy stores as Mattel tend to put billboards up of special things like Wonder Woman.

I think it says a lot for example that Mattel chose Vikander over a cast member of something like a Wrinkle in Time.

I think her ponytail is curly because of the humidity and like being in salt water etc.

It only looks curly to me when she's hanging from the axe which I'm willing to bet is right at the end of the movie haha

If nothing else I hope it's at least a decent adventure film.

The problem is that it is quite evidently full of action adventure cliche's.

Having said that, IT was critically acclaimed despite having dozens of horror cliche's so it depends on how they execute them.
