My heart goes out to the developers. You know many of them knew the game was going to flop but unfortunately many of them have little to no say in the matter. I expect in the coming months stories will come out about what exactly happened behind the scenes and it will probably be the tale as old as time of some high up out of touch suit thinking they know what they're doing. Its just mind boggling that this game had this long of a development time, a massive budget behind it, and yet every aspect of the actual product was mediocre at best. Then the cherry on top of charging money when every single other competitor is free and does everything Concord does but far better. If anything good comes out of Concord i hope its a wake up call to the industry. Last edited by Tommy123; 04-09-24 at 16:16. |

Concord is now filled with players throwing themselves off the maps as quickly as possible in a desperate attempt to unlock the shooters platinum trophy before it goes offline

All these layoffs... Jesus.
In other news, a few days ago, I started replaying Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance on my PS2. Using a new profile and save, I am going for another 100% completion run. Last edited by Lord Insidious; 05-09-24 at 04:09. Reason: Added console. |

I miss PS2 era where games took less to develop and imho we still had good looking graphics
I hated PS3 because everything mostly looks like a fruit salad given the Ng hype, so they added specular//shine to all models for no good reason. Looks so ugly |

Astro Bot is getting great reviews! Hopefully we will get more games like this again.

Astro Bot looks incredibly fun! I've watched the Gamespot review and now I'm all excited about it, although I don't really have a way to play it. In a few years perhaps. If they are looking for cute platforming ideas in the wake of Astro Bot's succes, Sony could consider revitalizing the Spyro the Dragon series. Spyro is still seen as a Playstation icon.

I never played the Astro Bot demo ? Whatever that first thing was that launched itself into this full game that released.
I bought the game and yooooooo, this gives me SOOOOOO much Spyro the dragon vibes. I am living for this game. It’s cute and adorable like LittleBigPlanet, the platforming is a bit like Crash Bandicoot but reminds me most of Spyro, I’m having a ****ing good time with this. Why don’t more games do what classic games did?? This is fun. It’s simple and fun and beautiful to look at. |

I'm so excited to play this game, I just have 1 hour left before I can leave work to go get it from GameStop. I can't wait! |

Loved the demo when I bought my PS5! I explicitly stated here I'd buy a full game if it was made.
And it was. But you can complete it in 10 hours, and platinum it in 15 hours. And you'll tell me that such things are unimportant and that I should praise its quality (and likely replayability). But I won't be able to, not for 60 USD. My brain is wired to think that 60 USD should deliver more content :/ Either when my brain accepts its price or when it is on sale (a year from now, perhaps?) I am so getting it! |
