And why would you want to modify the file extensions that the game is using? You can do this simply through editing the exe with a hex editor. This is nothing to do with porting DLC content to PC though.

Meh, I thought changing the size of the bigfile would work.
And the fact that if you can some view in someway or form of figuring what causes the crash it seems whatever is abnormal or the game just fails to load because of some change file or slight change maybe but I might not be the model but the file tied like how unity uses animations or effect specifically for the one model and I get a feeling you have already did this already and this thread kind of useless, but oh well.
