The Logo Thread
For years I've been somewhat into logos, mainly because how these things evolve every time. I especially dig the aesthetic looks.
If you're curious to find any specific logo, here is the link here: http://logos.wikia.com/wiki/Logopedia Now for my favorite logos... This 20th Century Fox logo here has always been one of my favorites growing up, and rightfully so given the powerful fanfare has been the company's anthem ever since its inception (as with the structure and searchlights). |

Dude the 20th Century Fox logo is amazing. John Williams composed the music for it. Every time it came up before each Star Wars film before Disney bought Lucasfulm.... aww yeah. Its like," Yep! We're here! You'll want to pay attention to this...itll be a quite a ride!"
I like Universal, Lucasfilm, Legendary Studios, Lionsgate, hmmm...Ill throw Paramount in too. Last edited by HD Simplicityy; 07-06-18 at 02:49. |

Oh yeah, Paramount does have some very interesting logos. The one I do remember growing up would be on VHS right here since that screams my childhood.
Let's all agree that Windows XP's startup jingle is phenomenal. This logo was one of the greatest examples of my childhood. The synthesizers have given me goosebumps forever. Last edited by Admles; 12-06-18 at 02:41. Reason: Multiple posts merged |

OMG I'm generally a bit of a sucker for brand identity but movie studios' logos especially! The 20th Century Fox must be one of the most iconic ones which is why I'm worried as to what will happen now that Disney has bought Fox... Speaking of Disney they too have a fantastic new logo for a good while now. Generally I'm head over hills for the recent trend of remaking logos into amazing high-definition and having them animated in the form of a scene (like the Disney castle, as opposed to having just a plain animated card/screen) AND fitting them with the theme/subject matter of whatever movie they come before (like the Matrix WB logos, Paramount's Transformer logos, Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean or TRON logos, to name just a few).
My recent favorite has been the Columbia Pictures logo, which is absolutely amazing and glorious: I don't like how it's mixed with the Sony logo now, though... perhaps Sony can come up with something more interesting for their logo too. Also, the TriStar logo, at least for the animation of the pegasus, which is fantastic too (not a big fan of the music) But they ruined it with the new remade one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVZwSeM86ek And for a bit of nostalgia... I was reminded of this one recently Last edited by Dustie; 11-06-18 at 14:48. |

This is just so cool even though it's plain, but the music does it for me:

This Gamecube one has been my childhood as well:
Plus these logos -- Midway has some of the best logos out there, like this one: I also dig Sierra as well: Also, Neversoft is a gem: |

Not really a logo, but I always liked the old "The Wonderful World of Disney" intro, mostly because of the music

I completely forgot about the Eidos Interactive logo, I think it was pretty strong for its time!
