I use Fraps, a payable program that videos or takes snapshots, where you hit the 'take snapshot' button to get a picture. I also use it for making videos.

Another method I use is 'paint shop pro 5' its a 'free as its old' paintshop program, and use either 'hit hotkey snapshot' method or the 'delay snapshot' method or the 'choose an area' snapshot method. works fine on win XP, win 7, and win 10 (which I have), but not vista. I really use this program for modifying or making textures in TR game modding, but the snapshot functions are really handy.

You can find the download on the internet, but make sure it says 'Tested: Free from spyware, adware and viruses'

Hey SSfox!

Totally gotcha covered! 📸

Steam is your BFF for screencaps in Tomb Raider II LOL! You can add non-Steam games to your Steam library, including Tomb Raider II, and then use Steam's built-in screenshot feature. Just hit F12 in-game and voila, you're snapping away like a pro! 🎮📷

And if you wanna get all fancy with options like filenames and stuff, check out IrfanView. It's got a pretty good screenshot tool with tons of choices to make your screencaps look just the way you want! 🤩📷

Happy raiding, and may your screencaps be epic!

The in-game screenshot is "S" key.

Another useful method (which includes many other features) would involve converting your game to TR2Main. Guide here. TR2Main allows for extra customizations, one of which is an updated screenshot feature.

Bandicam and other recording software like OBS has a screenshot key. Bandi is basically an upgrade over FRAPS in everything. But OBS is free and lets you stream if you want.

Or instead of downloading things… just use the built-in screenshot button on Windows ??

Press the Windows key and PrintScreen at the same time, and the screenshot will automatically save to My Pictures » Screenshots.
