There’s multiple returning areas from the OG that weren’t present in the base game! I’m so excited! I wonder how long this will be? I’m hoping it’s just as long if not longer than the original.

Excited for this! It looks awesome. Still don't like Ada's voice which is a big shame, as otherwise this would be perfection.

Seems like they have restored content that was cut from RE4Make to repurpose it for the Ada DLC! Awesome!

I fancy RE4Make Luis Sera so hard

I am so happy they fleshed out his character.

Other low points in Leon's campaign in RE6 climbing the elevator cable, swimming away from a giant mutated fish, fighting a Zombie that had clearly overdosed on massive amounts of Weight Gain 4000 fighting Simmons who repeatedly turned into a Tyrannosaurus Rex and then a skyscraper sized insect and the entire fight with Helena's sister.

The Red Queen is also in the computer games of Resident Evil.

Wesker works for Umbrella. The Resident Evil Umbrella / Darkside Chronicles has Wesker retrieve the Red Queen flash drive, was it?

There is also the Red Queen Alpha in Resident Evil Revelations 2.

The symbolism is that Wesker has looked into the box, (Wesker's child with Jill, or the Tyrant), and fell for his child to his death. And now must carry out duties to the Red Queen.

The T-Virus might have a control system, as the apocalypse is orchestrated in Resident Evil by Umbrella high command. To prevent to become a zombie by the T-virus, Wesker must carry out the Red Queen's orchestry, who then will administer a seringe with sufficient experimental antibodies to keep Wesker from mutating into a zombie by the T-Virus.

The Red Queen, an artificial intelligence that controls assets from Umbrella Corporation. A control system to keep someone like Wesker pointed at the growing threat of the outbreak of a never ending army of the undead.

But there is a problem with that.

And that's where Chris comes in.

Wesker is a Biohazard now too, that needs to be studied to be understood by the Red Queen. A Biohazard studied in combat by placing Wesker in the same room as a member of S.T.A.R.S. Special Tactics and Rescue Service. A unit that became specialized in defeating Biohazard's B.O.W.

To keep going Wesker needs his injections to keep the T-Virus under control. Wesker has no choice. With Wesker fighting for his survival, abilities begin to develop. And the Red Queen will want to gather information as much as possible as the Red Queen might be able to deploy Wesker clones to manage the growing outbreak more better.

Until the Red Queen develops the perfect Biohazard.

Now that TR is finally getting the first 3 games remastered and ported to modern consoles, how likely is it to get Capcom to do the same?

RE really is the last major series to not have its old games ported to modern consoles, I really hope Capcom sees the hype and hopefully good sales of the TR ports and stops being so stubborn!

I think of it as highly unlikely unfortunately

in Capcom's eyes they've already checked those boxes with Resident Evil Remake, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake as their own way of "porting" these classics and "preserving" them even if the outcome is different enough to the original to warrant it's own separate existence.

edit: does anyone else hate the new Wesker? I like his physical design but I hate his voice he sounds absolutely nothing like Albert Wesker....

Original Voice actor of Wesker broke his NDA and annoyed Capcom. That's why Capcom decided to replace him.

While this might be true - I don't think this is the case.
EVERY voice actor/actress in the remakes have new voices - its a new 'era'

In regards to Separate Ways - I'm super excited to see, what appears to be, nearly all the cut content being put back into the game.
Though this has me wondering - did they purposefully cut these areas from the Main Game and reuse them later on (which seems to be a modern trend)

OR did Capcom hear fan reactions to the cut areas and put them back in?

Nice to see brand new areas too - so its not 100% recycled areas from Leon's campaign like in the original Ada expansion.
