I’m beginning to think you hate men Lance.

You need to stop saying things that are alleged to have happened as truth.

I have presented two compelling instances that unmistakably align with Russel Brands reprehensible and morally corrupt conduct (and here's a third one: Russell Brand has a history of violence against sex workers and he wrote about that in his ‘Booky Wook.’ This chapter includes him smashing a woman’s phone against a wall). yet your response is nothing short of an accusation, alleging my disdain for men? maybe it is time for you to begin searching for your own perspectives rather than regurgitating the same intellectually deficient garbage you come across. Had this involved a Drag Queen, there would be such a different response from yourself and the others who claim to be tricked by tHe mAtRiX.

It's quite ironic how over the past year, both on this forum and across social media, the focus appeared to be on "protecting women." However, when situations like this arise, it seems like the priority shifts to silencing women and sacrificing them to uphold the existing patriarchal order. It's evident that your concern for women is just as shallow as your concern for children; they are treated merely as pawns in your agenda.

By the way, you coming to the conclusion that I hate men, only showcases your misandry.

Side note: I just realized I've barely seen Russell Brand in anything. Like, I know he's been in a lot of movies and TV but I personally have watched very little of it. I've seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall and the Despicable Me films, and that's about it.

Will you pay to use Twitter? I sure as hell won't.

Who will actually pay? Outside of Elons pathetic cult following?

Companies are already paying. If they keep paying after everyone starts getting charged that's going to be pretty dumb. Imagine having news behind a paywall.

News is already behind a paywall (subscriptions are on dedicated news sites such as The Guardian, Telegraph, etc).

I'm fairly confident once all users are charged to use X, that's the final nail in an already-atrociously-nailed coffin.

The only reason I use Twitter is because there's a lot of people I follow. Meta already has me on Facebook and Insta, I don't want to use Threads. Waiting for that Bluesky Social invite.

Part of me thinks I would be wise now instead of later in going through my followers list and making notes of names so I can hopefully re-follow them on Bluesky.

I got an invite to Bluesky today. Hopefully between that and Mastodon I'll be able to recreate my Twitter follows.

I follow a lot of professionals and journalists though, whose accounts would be paid for by employers, so who knows whether they will migrate off Billionaire Fascist Central?

If they aren't getting enough eyeballs to justify a $1000 /pm business account paid for by employers, they will stop paying, too, alongside creators who pay out of their own pocket for a Blue Tick account. This is also not to mention the large drop of advertisers being active on the site due to their products being trilled alongside facist and bigot sentiment. X is reporting a 40% drop in user activity also (if I am remembering correctly).

I follow a lot of professionals and journalists aswell, and they've spoken of their distaste with X's direction. I think most of us are just waiting for a Great Migration of short-form social media (that hopefully will not involve Threads, but the sundering of Twitter's monopoly has caused it to fracture into Threads, Mastadon and Bluesky. Bluesky will be my migration). X is turning into what Trump's Truth Social hoped it would be. But they will both fail all the same. It is only a matter of time.

Even though it hasn't been taking off massively yet due to the beta invite system, I've been using Bluesky for a bit now and out of the three big contenders right now, I feel like it will be the one that most of the Twitter base will migrate to when X finally implodes on itself.

Bluesky, even though decentralized, feels the most similar and should ultimately allow for much better control of one's feed than Twitter ever offered. Mastodon and Threads are alright, but outside of a niche audience for both - I don't think they'll have the same lasting appeal.
