The vultures will get her if you let Lara stand there too long.

The enemies also had a Lost Soul from DOOM on the back of their jacket.

I remember being stuck in levels such as Cistern or Wreck of the Maria Doria when I was a kid, but never have I had such a hard time completing a TR level as with Lud's Gate. Loathe that level. Not because it's bad, but because it's exhausting.

almost done with Mabubu George or w/e and...was the kayak section even needed? so irritating

edit: did not like this level

edit: that was quicker than expected

okay been roaming around in London. Love this outfit, love the atmosphere, love the sounds of the nighttime wind and bus noises. Much more better than hearing her moan "yOu cAn dO ThIs lArA" like in all the new games.

god i love this outfit

That's the patronizing low end US TV/movie influence - they treat the audience as dimwits who need to have everything explained out loud for them to understand the plot and what the character is feeling. Of course any halfway intelligent viewer/player doesn't need this to be able to imagine that.

Maybe once have the character verbalise what they're thinking but in video games the same lines being repeated multiple times, as so often seems to happen, gets annoying very quickly.

Silence can speak volumes. It also allows the background sounds to create the atmosphere and sense of isolation that these original games did so well either by accident, design or due to technical limitations. Whatever the reason: it works.

You know. I wish there's a way how any of us can develop the alpha mod of TR3 for the PC. That would definitely sound like a great idea to make that to happen.
