I wish the Tomb Raider games would take inspiration from the comics when it comes to plot. Some of the story arcs from the comics were really well done.

I AM BRINGING THIS THREAD BACK FROM THE DEAD.
I am (re)reading the Top Cow stuff from the top, for the first time in like 15 years. I am 2 issues in and I still like Andy Park's art a lot - when I think of Tomb Raider comics, I immediately think of him. I'm reading the 4 "Archives" volumes that Dark Horse published (I used to have all the Top Cow single issues but I replaced almost all of them with the Archives to save space). I've got a bunch of one-shots and crossovers than I'm not sure if the Archives collected or not, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. FUN FACT: I got a letter published in issue #19! That was 20 years ago! Last edited by Xenomrph; 14-09-22 at 03:53. |

Aw that's sweet, you're a part of history for ever and one of the best parts of Tomb Raider history, the Top Cow comics.

I personally believe that the Top Cow comics show the greatest potential for the writing of classic Laras character. They really did our girl well

I didn’t like how often the comics sexualised Lara, but otherwise they were very good.

I've wanted to give these a read. Are they available on any digital store?

I like these comics, but I think Lara can be too sexualised at times. There are various times when she wears barely anything, and there’s frequent close ups to her boobs, legs and ass. It can especially be really silly when she’s climbing rocky edifices.
