^It's because the game was made at the time that Bob Lazaar first went public. He was the one who first claimed there was alien technology at S4 part of Area 51 and that they worked by using element 115. It was a huge thing at the time and before this Area 51 wasn't even known about.

The people who made the first TR games were obviously interested in those kind of things - UFOs / Atlantis / strange mysteries around the world.

They either had an inside man or they just googled Area 51 as part of their research.

If TR3 ever gets remade I want them to include a Stargate and moon landing set for the conspiracy theorists that claim the moon landing was fake.
The moon landing area should be a lost artefact style secret area, with a Rocket Launcher located next to shuttle-thing they arrived on.

Well, well... I never thought, I'll predict the future.

I don't know how legit this is, but if it's real, than we are doomed.

Its real:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/18/us/du...rnd/index.html

Well, the event in question will be happening in two days. Here is the thing though; The issue in question goes far beyond just these idiots trying to get themselves killed.

I have no doubt that the U.S. Military is perfectly capable of terminating any possible breech of security within their compound. However, the tiny town that is located not too far from the Area 51 Site does not has the infrastructure or the services to handle such a large influx of tourists and visitors:

https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/r...rnd/index.html

Even if the town were to get just a fraction of the individuals who signed up for that stupid event (say just under a thousand individuals,) it will still be way too much for the small town to handle.

One thing I can't comprehend, is people knows, it is guarded by military.
What do they think they can achieve? Besides getting shot and/or arrested?

Also, at first I thought it's mainly some edgy teenagers who signed up for that, because it's the new trend, but no.

Also the town is populated by 54 people. Like what? Are they aware of this?
I don't know what americans think about this situation in general, but I do know here in Europe many of us baffled and laugh at them...

I love how people can come together for the most ridiculous things.

Now I just wish they’d come together for the serious things too
