Chart placements matters little, only sales numbers do. Half a million copies sold so far. It's likely lesser than MS hoped for, but we don't really know what their expecations were as they could hardly be bothered to do proper marketing for the game it seems. Still, if it ends up selling one million across the Xbox platforms I say that's passable if it does another 2-3 million on PC/PS4. Only time will tell how this game does it so we won't know the results for sure until 2017.

They must have had high expectations since they bought the rights, otherwise they would have been stupid to pay good money for low expectations...

Unless they bought the rights for very little, which in that case, SE would be the stupid ones...

This deal has brought nothing but negative outcomes with it... Just take a look at the fanbase. Everyone is at each other's throat. And take a good look at the facebook page. Team Xbox insult PC/PS4 players and calling them "Butthurt fans".

Whoever came up with this deal, needs to go to rehab.

this . its really too bad, people can say what they want about the reboot, but it definitly breathed new life into the franchise by selling as much as it did and getting the scores it did (after the less than mediocre Underworld) and now here we are in mess for the series once again (though rise has been getting good scores but you know what i mean)

MS made the deal to compete with Uncharted 4. With that game being postponed MS interest in ROTTR probably faded a little. I bet if UC4 had still been slated for a Christmas release MS would have been heavier with the ROTTR promotion.

3.) Star Wars: Battlefront (PS4, Xbox One, PC | Electronic Arts) - Up 21% versus The Force Unleashed, the previous best selling Star Wars game (it had a worldwide LTD of over 7 million copies)
4.) Madden NFL 16 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3 | Electronic Arts)
5.) NBA 2K16 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3 | Take-Two)

VGChartz is never accurate, they are ballpark at best, and completely wrong at worst.

NPD makes it clear VGC overtracked the game a lot.

Vgc tend to underestimate the sales all the time, not sure what we should look at
