Default EA Games are now on Steam

Games include Crysis 3, Mirror's Edge Catalyst and Dragon Age 2.

More to come soon

Back on Steam. I wonder how removing some of them in favour of Origin worked out for EA.

I guess you can be as big as you want, not selling your games on the largest and most commonly used distribution platform is always a bad idea. Origin store is nice and all, but most people simply don't want to create tons of accounts.

Ironically just bought Origin Access... because it's only 20 for the year.

I would have said great news if I was still giving EA any of my money.

Still, for anyone else, probably great news, I guess

I saw this the other day, bit of a shock!

I hope they'll re-list Alice: Madness Returns soon too, so I can get that and Mirror's Edge Catalyst and never have to log in to my Origin account ever again.

Here's hoping they relist their old games, such as the old battlefield games.

Make no mistake, this isn't EA giving Steam even more ground.

I think EA is slowly but surely entertaining the idea of shutting down Origin to get some of that Epic Game Store exclusivity money, while teasing Steam users with Oring Access (which name I suppose will be changed to just EA Access).
Something like, you want the game Day 1? EGS. You don't like EGS? EA Access.

That's one classy monkeybranching right there.

Thanks for reminding me about that game. I might have to hook up my PS3 at somepoint to play it. Well, the first game to start off with.
