Whoever designed Temple of Puna was a sadist... I love it.

Looks amazing so far!

Quick question, have you pretty much already made most of the textures and are now simply applying them to levels one at a time now?

I think this is a great idea, as long as you double check with a legal expert if this would definitely not be seen as copyright infringement. Although not likely, would be terrible to have this project blocked for such reason.

As you hinted at, I think you should go for smaller pledges in order to reach out to the many people. If the bar is set too high, it will just turn people away.

And one more note - since one fifth of the game is almost finished, maybe you should consider including The Lost Artifact in the campaign as well.

Hope this helps

Thank you!

No! While I'm making the textures I'm constantly applying to the game and see how it looks, this way I can see if everything fits well, and I can make the necessary adjustments...

Yeah, I'm preety sure I'll not having legal issues! I'm not distributing copyrighted material, I'm making MY version of the textures to be used in the game. It is a separeted thing!

Yeah, I'm thinking in pledges like U$1, U$2 and U$3 respectivately.

Thank you for your opinion!

Thank you for your feedback!

I'm not happy with the dome ceiling either... from close it is better, it is a lot of Bamboo wood interlacing one another... But I'll change to something better...

I'm not playing in 4K, but I'm playing in a ultrawide monitor and it looks amazing too!

Thank you for telling me about the text problem!
I'll fix them in the next revision of the files!
For this, it will be best to hook the functions that draws the bars and just override them altogether. I could even add a psx like gradient, just don't expect a faithful reproduction of the psx bars, i lack the patience to do it

About that, i don't think you will have trouble with squareenix, but just to be sure, use the compiler so you don't have to distribute the texture dumps

BTW, i gave up the draw distance thing. It was taking too much time. The game does z clipping on word and view space, it does it on several functions because it has different functions to sort textured\non-textured triangles\rectangles. It uses a few static buffers that i have to extend because some levels (like Antarctica) with extended draw distance, end up with more vertices inside the frustum then what fits on those buffers. The is also a calculation for the visibility of each room in addition to the per triangle z clipping and even when you solve all that, because of the way the game clears the back buffer, you may end up with black rectangles in front of geometry that was not clipped.

Lets wait for Arsunt. His decompiling powers are far stronger then mine

If you manage to do that would be awesome!
The bars are the only ugly thing that I'll left untouched... hahaha
It would be cool to have it on HD too!

Humm, I was not thinking about the dumps... That could be a problem...
It is possible to replace the textures without the dumps?
Can you give me more informations about how to do it?

Don't worry about that!
After I saw the game without it, I think it was strange... so in the end, It was not THAT much of improvent...

But, I'm dreaming about those Bump maps!

Thank you so much for your work on the patch!!
