Temple of the Sun.

Followed by all DLC tombs except for the Forge.

Howl of the Monkey Gods. I loved the platforming elements, the timed spike pits, as well as the scary boom boom of the statues making 'music'.

Toss up between Temple of the Sun and Mother Protector. I guess I enjoy puzzles where what you need to do is obvious... but the challenge is in the execution.

Temple of the Sun! That tomb had the most challenging puzzle in all the reboot universe!.

It's a hard choice. I love how Temple of the Sun is a classic (almost cliche) logic puzzle, but it's all contained in one medium sized room. I loved the concept of Howl of the Monkey Gods, as well as how traversal ties into the puzzle, but I didn't have to think much and there was no exploration. I adore the atmosphere of Zipacna's Craving but I preferred the traps and puzzle in Mother Protector. If Zipacna's craving actually had a puzzle I think it would be my favourite.

I wish there was a tomb with all of the aspects I enjoy. Exploration, traversal, real puzzles, danger, atmosphere. I don't want to decide yet

Edit: Can I combine 3? One tomb where you solve the puzzle from Temple of the Sun in order to open the gates to Zipacna's craving, make your way to the top of the room avoiding the fire and lava, and then complete the puzzles from Mother Protector to reach the end.

I actually found the puzzles in Mother Protector to be rather straightforward and simple. I remember spending a good amount of time on the Temple of the Sun puzzle. Mother Protector easily had the best atmosphere though.

I'll say I love Temple of the Sun.

Mother Protector, not so much.
It'd help if the spikes went up and down all the time, so that the player had to carefully plan the way through the corridor. Instead, we just sprint past them without giving it much thought :/
And cutting the rope 3 times to achieve the same in each opportunity was awful.
Other than that, yes, the puzzles are okay and the atmosphere is great.

Idk, everyone ha s their own merit, I feel like the campaign ones kinda goes getting harder as you progress but the dlc ones are 100x times better than the campaign ones. If I could summarize, my favs got to be the DLC ones in no specific order:
- The monkey gods bring back to me the feel of, "calculate your traversal carefully or you will restart in a checkpoint where you used your save cristal a long time ago "
- The raft one reminded me a lot of TR3, and the atmosphere and the dark cloud sky makes me love even more. I love cloudy days more than sunny ones. And of course, iit felt like a real challenge after the easy peasies from earlier games.
- The last but not least, mother's protector. It got a TR4 feeling to me, and IMO it should be the basis for future games. It took me a lot of time, and it's interesting because physic puzzles doesn't take a lot of time from me, but logical ones like in this tomb do.
