Thank you so much for the compliment!

I made this render a few days ago, but I read that it's the 16th Anniversary for Tomb Raider the Angel of Darkness today so here it is to celebrate

Here are some of my latest renders,

As always please click the picks for full size renders and credits

I made a swedish Lara inspired by the swedish Midsummer celebration earlier this summer :

More classic Lara, this is a remake of a render I made over two years ago:

Here is the older version: clicky

My second remake of a classic official TR promo render:

Here's my first version: clicky

And finally here's one of my "weird Lara" renders made just because it's very fun to do and that I own the products to make it happen :

I made a render with my cat Lara in a catsuit also here: clicky

I have made a few albums with my Daz Studio renders collected in different albums at my Facebook fanart page here: clicky, like a sola outfit album, Nevada, catsuit, pinup Lara, classic render remake, cyborg Lara and so on.
They are all avaliable at my deviantart gallery but since I have over 1700 renders there I think it's nice to have them collected in albums. If you would like to see my albums (and two render videos) and I have more albums planned,
Please visit and consider if you would like to follow and like my facebook page . I want to thank thoose of you who allready are following me (if there are some of you here), I really appreciate the support!

Wow all of these are so good! You have definitely improved!
I mean they have always been good and I've always like them but they are getting better and better to me.

Can you make her look less alien-like?
Idk how other people think about this, but in all these renders she is deep down in the Uncanny Valley.
The old Lara Renders are not-so-uncanny compared to your renders

I respect your opinion ofcourse, but could you please say it in a nicer way?
It's totally ok with constructive critisism, that's how I made this model, following the advice I got about my model in this and another thread, but alien like and uncanny valley (I really hate that expression ) is not constructive in any way it's just insulting.
Can you also be more specific? is it a special facial feature that you think is wrong? or is is simply that you think that the cartoony style of her is creapy when she has the realistic skin textures?

If it's the cartoony/realistic combo that you find wrong then I'm sorry, I can't do anything about it, I have tried to use more cartoony skin textures with less details but I can't get the lights to look good using it. I need the skin details to react to the lights to feel good about the render.
If it's a particular feature you dislike then perhaps it's something I need to change.

So please, tell me what's wrong in a constructive way, I appreciate all feedback, but this kind of comment really hurts my feelings. Rendering Lara is my biggest passion in life and I put a bit of myself in every render, so this kind of comment hits me hard .

sorry for the mean words, wasnt meant to sound that harsh.

Her eyes are goo big,
her cheek is "empty" in every angle and her mouth is gigantic compared to her whole face.
A Mix of realism and cartoon will never work completely though

Ok, Thanks for letting me know what you think is wrong in more detail. I'll look more closely at the Fmv Lara promo picks (Last revelation Fmv Lara is my fav) and see if I need to make some changes.

You are probably right about realism and cartoon, but I can't help it. I adore the Fmv models and I want my model too look as close to thoose models as I can at the same time as I like realistic textures. As I said I have tried more cartoony textures but I can't make it work, can't make the lights too look right to me, and then I try my fav skin texture again and I think to myself: there she is, my Lara...
