Default How soon is “soon”?

Making a thread to ask this publicly as we’re all a bit in the dark to when Shadow will actually conclude, and the passing of Square Enix’s presentation without any news relating to TR or this final “coming soon” DLC is disheartening.

Are EM/Morrigan able to confirm when we could expect the final piece of content? It would be easier to wrap our heads around if we definitively knew what it was (for example, if additional modes and bug fixes are being implemented, I would happily wait longer).

This isn’t a pitchfork-y thread, just a request for some confirmation.

Good question and I like they way you've worded it

Some confirmation of something, whether it be a cancelation or that something is indeed coming would be greatly appreciated.

At this point, they're setting the expectations bar up, unimaginably high with all this waiting. If they don't knock it out the park with this dlc... well, the pitchforks will be ready.

To be fair, in this community, the pitchforks have stayed ready for a while now.

You’re absolutely right. They had every opportunity to just be completely straight with us and either mitigate the expectations to a more reasonable degree.

Instead they remained dead silent. So all the negativity that is sure to come, should they not deliver on the hype, is entirely on them.

Sooner rather than later.
Give us something to talk about.

They should have never put that sentence in the game, they made a mistake here.

If we have to wait for a "definitive edition" then it's fine but they shouldn't have spoiled it for us (the way they handled it for Rise's blood ties was perfect; once they announced it, everyone was excited).

With all the expectation we were able to build during this long time, this coming "soon" dlc better be good.

I still don't get the definitive edition though.... (I like them in general, but they need a good reason)

TR13 -not much additional content, but it was a good idea to bring it to new consoles

Rise - a lot of content, the season pass and LOTS of preorder outfits and waepons that would have been really expensive to buy separately (trust me, I had done this on Xbox360)
Plus, support for ps4, so it was an amazing idea

Shadow - just the season pass, only three preorder outfits (and it wasn't like in Rise that it was impossible to get them all togheter because they were exclusive to certain shops; this time I got them all togheter at launch) and this dlc8 that can't be that huge because it's listed with the other challenge tombs.

I don't think it's enough content, expecially because the game is already out for all platforms...

Then maybe I'll change my mind if they add more things like chapter replay or endurance; but I hope they will be available to buy for everyone (even I would have to pay additional money) because I've already paid A LOT for this game's Croft Edition (I've already experienced being left out from the dlcs in Rise even if I had paid full price for the game and the season pass and I don't want it to happen again).
