Surprised there wasn't a thread about this already. I've not played Dead Space, but ever since the reveal I've been interested in this game. 3rd person survival horror games are my favourite and this looks like a great one to play. A nice mix between Alien Isolation & The Evil Within.

Anyone looking forward to this?

It looks pretty cool and through the whole trailer till the end i was convinced that this was a new dead space, since i havent seen or heard anything about this game before.

Was really surprised in the end that it wasnt dead space.
But i take it anyway, looks very very good...im curious about the gameplay they want to show and how the game is paced etc.

Ahhh, that explains it.
There’s sooooo many similarities to Dead Space. It looks more like a reimagining.

Been watching some walkthroughs online, and this looks like what they are going for TR in the future, honestly. The mix of action, storytelling and gameplay is interesting.

Also, the next TR is going to look phenomenal looking at how stunning games are nowadays.

So the game is getting bombed by critics, and I'm honestly surprised. I have been watching a total of three feeds of people playing while working on some stuff, and I have noticed how they all seemed so engaged in the gameplay, and I was honestly super impressed by the conception of the levels, the stunning visuals and lighting which feel extremely atmospheric and the pacing of the game. I watched a lot of it, and yah, it's just not okay IMO.

I do feel however that there could have been a lot more originality in the way things were approached, in terms of enemies or gameplay, or perhaps this could have been a Dead Space sort of spin-off seeing many people of the OG team were affiliated.

Either way, critics are extremely harsh on it.
