The UE5 reveal demo level had a good blend of pretty but colourful graphics which would suit TR imo

It's kinda sad the reboot games got so much hate tbh, replaying 2013 and I'm having a blast. I love the combat system, it's so fluid and easy to use. I'm amazed at how I managed to headshot enemies all of the time. I also love using the axe to punish enemies who try to rush me up close.
The reboots are really fun games and it's not surprising to see how 2013 and Rise were games the general public enjoyed. I also feel they are better than Uncharted l, more refined and mature. That's just my opinion though.

If only TR2013 would've had proper tombs, complex puzzles, intricate level design, and not such an abysmal story with a whole gaggle of characters who won't shut up; Lara being truly alone and isolated plus some survival horror/supernatural enemies thrown in ... then it could've really been a perfect next gen TR game. Now that I don't have to worry about my internet speed anymore I finally downloaded Shadow after having it sit in my library for a couple of years now. Pretty excited to play it solely because I've heard it focus way more on stealth, and I love stealth in games.
First thing I noticed is how it knows I'm playing on a ps4 controller so it uses ps buttons. I guess I'm slowly starting to get into games that were released after steam started officially supporting ps controllers. Finally... |
