So I said I wouldn't spoil the crazy new features in this mod, but as it appears to have flown under the radar...screw it!

Here's what happens when Mario steps on the hand of Midas - definitely a cool feature in a level swarming with baddies!
They created this adorable doppelganger for Mario
Mario can pick up the torso mutant from behind and spin him around like Bowser
The final showdown with Natla has the Ultimate Bowser battle theme
All secrets are obtainable, but some require a completely different method. Long-jumping off the Sphinx to get the uzis was a BITCH
