Yes, but we have to decide how exactly. The problem is that TEN now allows subsector standable objects, including trapdoors - which means you can have trapdoor which doesnt fully cover floor or ceiling portal. Maybe some checks should be done to know whether trapdoor bounds cover whole block and then decide on disabling vertical portal.

Core's way is indeed ultra hacky and prone to crashes. I guess they just needed last minute fix to prevent some enemies or objects from falling through trapdoors, that's why they changed them since TR4.

Hi I was wondering how you guys are getting on with TombEngine project its been a year and a month since I heard any news about the project I hope you guys are doing really well on it and I hope to hear some great news on a release date on when we can try it all out I can't wait for the first public beta to come out 😊

Hi.
We would release a public open beta soon, and we are working on this.
Who is on Discord sees the progresses every day.
We are ready to merge my group of changes of the renderer, and this will mean also the release of the next updated version of TE.
I will talk about this evening with the team for deciding a release date of the public open beta.
