You should really create a thread for your renders in the Fan Artwork section

Am I the only one who just now, 10 years later, got Natla's line from Anniversary?
She says: "This is a game you've played before".

I knooow, #slow.

I can think of two interpretations of that line, 1, referring to TR1, and 2, just simply referring to Lara searching for the Scion with her father when she was younger.

Are you replaying the game or is this your first time? Just curious.

Anniversary was my first TR game back in 2007. And I reowned it on PS3 with the TRilogy. At the moment tho, I don't own it. I plan to buy it for PC through Steam tho, if I can run Legend, I am sure I can run Anniversary, too.

And the line occurred to me through youtube video and this:

'... a game you've played before, with your father.' There was no father in TR1, so I think NoahCrofRaider's option 2 is the right interpretation...

it doesn't make sense if this was a reference from tr1, or else Natla would know she'd die (i mean, at least in tr1 she ACTUALLY dies ffs)

I think it's possible that it could mean both interpretations, actually. Though it's true that in TR1 there was no father involved, there was a father in TRA. She says, "This is a game you've played before, with your father."

I think in the end they were trying to have a secret nod to TR1 and actually have something to do with TRA's story.
