Its not any images, but someone is selling the Atari Jaguar version. I think its a fake, but it doesn't harm anyone to check it out.

Also I have found a website that has a list of gomes released on cart and cd, plus games that where going to be out on cart and cd.

http://www.backntime.net/Atari%20Gam...eJagGames.html

Likely it was a fake, it was back in 2003 though, so is long gone now. If it was a beta version often people who get their hands on them sit on them, and do not share so that the item will be more valuable. l have seen many lists where the game was mentioned as coming out on the Jaguar, people seem to think the screenshots were from that version, so perhaps a single beta disc does exist somewhere. Eidos might have looked at it and decided, it was not worth doing a version for the jaguar, maybe it did not look as good as the other versions, or maybe they did not think the console would last long enough.

I've just chopped this out of the last page of the article:

Read the last sentence. Looks like Tomb Raider was accused of copying Prince of Persia even back in 96!

Thanks for sharing, this is great.

Some say "accused of copying" when others say "inspired by". There's a whole lot of slight differences between the two, and I might be naive but I think that when a commercial product is a direct rip-off of another one without permission, it usually ends in court.

Fair enough. it just made me think of the Prince of Persia 'inspired' wallruns in TRA. :P

The TRA wallruns are what any climber can do with a rope firmly affixed to something, they were not inspired by the unrealistic gravity defying wallruns from POP. No doubt a few other realistic grapple moves will eventually be added, perhaps even something flashy like running down the rope and kicking of on the end to flip over (or seeing Lara go face first into the ground if you mistime the kick). l have not had time lately to hunt for anything new, so will add one of my scans that l previously posted.

Those last two pages have some interesting renders! The least one I havet never seen. Are they official!?

But look at this:

US DOS packaging

There is the early screenshot with Larson in Peru on these two:
