Notice how Muller isn't in the beta pictures. When talking to him he says something about Boaz deserving what she got and Boaz is only killed nearly at the end of the level before the gas chamber. Also there is a concept art where his arm turns into bees. It's possible that at one point he was considered for a boss fight. Maybe there are still some animations left in the game...

Some ex employee confirmed that there was supposed to be a boss fight with Muller.

29. Muller Boss fight: There was a deleted animation for Muller where he summoned a swarm of bees. Was there ever a boss fight with Muller that is removed at the final second?
A. Yes, there was a sub boss fight with him that didn't make it.

Wow, that QA was one interesting read! It clearly shows what the reason for AODs inevitable failure was. Inexperience with the ps2, Bad development decisions, Focusing in the wrong things, bad communication between seemingly two groups in the team, of which one group had too less actual game making experience. And finally stupid actions from eidos regarding controls and unrealistic promises.

It's also really sad to read that quite some content was removed simply because of memory issues.

It remains sad to this very day that this game didn't Turn out as it was supposed to.

Plottwist: maybe he talks about Rouzic. I dont know the exact conversation. The zombies all look like Rouzic clones, they also have that scar in their faces.

I'm always wondering if they REALLY deleted the cut out stuff forever, or if they still have it? It's really not of this time anymore to completely remove things that are made. Imagine parts of levels still one some hard drive somewhere.
