I could successfully extract some streams from my ace combat DVD and probably you could do the same with TROAD as well
The PC actually has the analogue stick lines (And potentially some others) already in the levels

Some if not all sound files from the PS2 release are already in the PC release. Proabably it would be possible to change sound files in the PC release if someone would create wav2awd tool.

It may also be possible to extract audio from the PS2 release and replace it with audio in the PC release. If you rip GMX files on the PS2 release, you get AWD files that can be further ripped to WAV files. I did not try to replace AWD files from the PS2 release with ones from the PC release but it may work. You just have to remember that in order to have AWD files working in the PC release you also need to rip to GMX files in your maps folder.

Since I love playing around with AOD's files, I've thrown together a 7 minute video purely of PS2 VS. PC lines from the tutorial level.

These aren't by any means ALL lines, but still, the differences are actually astounding!

They literally recorded everything twice (With the exception of a few of the secret area lines) and often the PS2 files are better quality with higher fidelity and Jonell's acting is usually much better.

I'll post it here once it's exported/uploaded

Edit: Here it is

In my opinion, every single PC line is better, with the exception of "This door is locked, I'll need a key", and possibly "Don't keep me hanging around, blablabla".

I don't know - she kinda sounds annoyed at everything in the PC version, not ot mention the first line "This looks like a safe area..."

There are some pretty cool screenshots of beta AOD in tomb raider chronicles website but I can't seem to view them, I think they've been disabled or something. Is anyone having trouble opening them too?

LOL I use adblock as well. I just paused it and it worked. Thank you for that suggestion
