I preordered the digital version on the TR Suite site about a couple weeks ago, I can’t wait until Friday.

I’m gonna die when I hear Venice Violins.

Is the remastered soundtrack included in the physical album? It comes in 2 discs so I assumed it did, but I'm not sure anymore.

I don't know, TBH. Everything in the Suite appears to be on the Digital Download and that's just over a CD, with the Medleys.

I don't mean to be a killjoy... but the music arrangement feels off at some points. Like things that are meant to be in the background are louder, and some of the notes are off. I kinda prefer the originals. :/

I respect all the opinions of course, but if you want something that sounds just like the originals, you have the originals! I think the whole point of paying thousands of dollars was to get something nostalgic but NEW, and I think Nathan delivered an incredible product
So cool to hear real harpsichords, horns, and even a reorchestrated or even newly composed moment here and there (fun new content we didn't know we'd be getting!), and it's important to remember that since real instruments are not midi files, the exact same setup isn't going to work once a resonant room and conflicting harmonic series from different notes and instruments get involved.

No, I understand what you mean. I think it's one part brain habit, one part audio quality. In regard to the former, I think our brains fixate on certain parts of a song when we listen to them over and over, and even though there are other things happening, what you hear is those specific melodies. Since these arrangements are different, your brain doesn't latch onto those same melodies. I don't think it's such a bad thing, though, it gives you a different perspective. I also prefer some of the originals, but I know it's because I'm stuck in my ways.

As for the latter, these are only 192kbps MP3s. Part of the fidelity has been lost in the compression. We'll have to wait for the physical CD to see if they sound better! I hope so, because I agree that at times the balance of the tracks seems off. This could very well be due to compression.

I really am hoping for the remasters tbh. I guess this is more in the lines of "classic acoustic version" than a full-blown actual orchestra. Some of the key pieces weren't done justice and it seems there's a lot less pieces than the soundtracks originally had (but I guess that's what you call a "suite"), but overall I'm not dissatisfied. Can't wait to get the physical copy.

Would it be possible to put these in TR games if I bought it?

The music is copyrighted. So I'd say no.
And actually thinking about it is just a punch into the face of nathan tbh.
