I attempted to try the mod the last week, followed each of the steps as indicated, but when I clicked on the TR5 icon for the Patch to load the textures, an error message box popped up saying some Peixoto dll was missing.

I'm going to try again next Monday but will take a screen capture this time so you can see it, New Dwight.

Your anti-virus has quarantined peixoto.dll

Here I am with the screen captures.

Ok so first I need to make it clear that I've got two versions of Peixoto's Patch: I've named them "V1" and "V2, the former being the one from the link that you shared with me via PM, while the later is the one I downloaded from the 2020 updated post.

Consequently, I followed the steps by using the second version, just as you reccomended. I'm posting the pictures taken in the process below in chronological order.

The error in question seems to have to do with a file named "peixoto.dll-126", which is originally nowhere to be found in neither of the two Peixoto Patch versions I own. A capture picturing a comparison between the corresponding files from both versions is attached here, as well.

As for your guess about my anti-virus putting "peixoto.dll file" in quarantine, I don't think such thing has happened; the only anti-virus I've got is Windows Defender by default (no other one's been installed), and no pop-up warnings have ever appeared.

Before I forget, in pic 1 the selected folder is "Textures", which contains both "Dumps" and "Replacements". Is this the right way to accomplish step 7th, as indicated in the OP? Peixoto's Patch will only allow me to select one folder only.
I'm asking because of this (quote): "The destination location should point to folders Dumps and Replacements of the unzipped file."

None of this matters until you restore the peixoto.dll file that your antivirus has quarantine

Alright, I'm adding the dll to the 'Exceptions' list and see if it works. I'll write here again next Tuesday.
