Sony would ruin Tomb Raider. They’re far too greedy

The downside about this is exclusivity to the Playstation (which will suck for Xbox players). However Sony's management of their first party devs is much better than Microsoft, plus they create good quality games from Santa Monica studios, Guerrilla Games, Sucker Punch Productions and Naghty Dog. I believe Lara would be in good hands under any of the above Sony studios.

Sony target demographic is casuals though. Meaning instead of becoming more complex like we all want. It would be completely dumbed down to appeal to the most gamers as possible. Almost all of their games are more like movies than games. They focus on story instead of interesting or challenging gameplay

Sony is 1000% no, not just because of the exclusivity because that is a huge reason to say no. Xbox wouldn't just be out, PC would be out as well.

But the biggest reason is because Sony is not what it used to be. At least when it comes to movies and anime and other things I am against Sony's censorship and against a lot of Sony's polices and it's growing media empire.

Just a definite no to Sony.

Either Eidos Montréal, or a new developer.

That's all well and good but for me I want something new now. They rinsed and repeated the reboot story to 3 games now and I'm very bored of this era. I'd rather a Tomb Raider game that's closer to the original design sell less, than one that sells well that almost has another identity.

A new Tomb Raider game in fresh hands can only be better imo.

I don't care about good games, I care about good Tomb Raider games. I agree with you that we need something fresh and new, not a series of games that are just a massive conglomeration of whats trending today.

Do y’all see what happened when Crash and Spyro when the publisher starting thank you nexting developers left and right?

I just happen to want actual Tomb raider again instead of more generic open world games, The rest of the gaming industry already makes enough of that stuff.

I would rather have that RANDOM studio who will be willing to take TR back to its roots than an overrated generic shooter.
