Oh you. <3

Isn't there a Tomb in Shadow where she literally says "UGH, WHAT IS THAT SMELL?!"

I do agree though, there was a downgrade. Rise Lara is my favorite out of the reboot, 2013 looks cartoonish and Shadow, just #done.

The only problem is that it's less detailed than Rise's, but the expressions have been improved and she's no longer a mouthbreather so I'll take it

I was watching a playthrough of Rise and yes, the model (specially the texture) is much more detailed but the expression and the overall face has been improved in a very significant way. Having spent a lot of time with Shadow it was a little weird seeing the Rise model again and it made me realize how different they are, even though I used to think they were pretty much the same.

I think she's alright as reboot Lara goes, quite pretty in fact and much better than the in-game TR2013 model that I played on PS which was awful and ugly. The hair does her no favours in all 3 reboot versions. But I do think she could look better as a different model completely (personal taste), although I do like this mod picture of Shadow Lara quite a bit.

I'm jumping to conclusions without anything to prove them but, it really seems like the model downgrades are actually just for optimization, but they can make the characters look more "realistic" if they wanted , for example, look at this Unuratu model, i think it looks a more detailed than what we got in the final product (I got this from ArtStation)
