Very interesting. Do you have the cover page? Does it say the date and which number of drafts it is?

It's not a draft it's a screenplay it's a different thing ^^
It's from July 28th 2000

It's written by Philip Masset/John Zinman with revisions from Simon West and Laeta Kalogridis and that's an important detail because she was the last person involved in the writting process according to my research. So I'm 99% sure it was the version who was shotted.

Thank you. I know it's a screenplay, but the different versions of screenplays are referred to as drafts. The very first version would be called 'first draft', then if they do a rewrite it would be called '2nd draft' and so on. Often the draft number is printed on the cover page of the screenplay.

Yes that's an interesting detail indeed. Perhaps this is the shooting script then. The date on the script being July 28th 2000 I'd say it almost certainly is (shooting took place July 30 to November 30, 2000 according to wikipedia).

That's interesting to know I didn't know the days so thank you
There's no numbers outside of the revisions (16 in total) so I think it's really the shooting draft

There's no such thing as a shooting draft? When you get to shooting, its the final script (in most cases )

Some films will start shooting with a script while revisions are made throughout the actual production process.

Not usually. Jaws is probably the one exception where it worked out really well.

By shooting draft I mean the one they have used for shooting also yeah a script can change but it's mostly because of contrains or the editing.
