Default Map Room Analysis

The map room in the level Guardian of Semerkhet should get more attention because every location Lara visits during The Last Revelation is represented here. See image 1.

Tomb of Seth, Valley of the Kings. See image 2.

Karnak. See image 3.

Lighthouse of Alexandria. The lighthouse is also known as 'Pharos' which give its name to the level Pharos, Temple of Isis - where we see what's left of the sunken lighthouse. See image 4.

Citadel of Saladin, Cairo. See image 5.

The Great Sphinx. See image 6.

Giza Pyramid Complex. See image 7.

Nice detail, thanks I haven't been aware of this. Maybe I should replay "The Last Revelation".

^Thanks for the replies

Fun fact: In 1994 real life Jean-Yves led a team of archologists to study the remains of the lighthouse on the sea floor. They've catalogued over 3000 objects including granite blocks, sphinxes, obelisks and carvings. Some of these have been restored and can be viewed on display in various museums of Alexandria.

The people who designed Semerkhet's tomb really had some profound prophetic skills since both the Alexandrian Lighthouse and Cairo Citadel were built thousands of years after Semerkhet was entombed

*EDIT*
Awesome thread btw, love the picture comparisons.
