Thanks, guys!
It was a pleasure to share with you thanks to TR Forums.

I certainly remember! The cut content from the entire game seemed to be amazing... I'm always curious with beta versions of games, specially from the TR franchise

Legend was my first Tomb Raider game back in 2006 and probably it's still one of my favourites!
I don't know if it's nostalgia but what I love about it is that every level is so unique and there is not even a dull moment, everything feels so fresh! From the old pre Incan ruins of Bolivia to the modern Japanese skyscrapers, from the gothic English tomb to the Kazakistan base!
But yes, it was too short indeed!
My favourite level is Japan, we never got to experience anything like that in the franchise since then,it was absolutely amazing!(taking the Ducati 999 from the attic was such an iconic moment! )

I agree 100%.
Of course it always has nostalgia but I doubt it's responsible to make the game great for us, cause when I think about Anniversary and Underworld, for example, I don't feel the same passion I have with Legend, although I like them so much too.

It’s a weird and an intensely unpopular opinion, but lately, I’m starting to question if Underworld is my favorite out of LAU, with Legend as second and Anniversary as third. Underworld just gives me so many classic TR vibes and I just absolutely love the locations and some of the characters’ writing, and Legend has a wonderful story with really good characters and, also after replaying it, a pretty great Lara.

I think this might actually be happening for me, and I have a hard time believing it. >.< I am SHOOK.

For me, legend is the best of the trilogy, and then Anniversary, with Underworld as the last. I'm a Underworld lover too, I guess it has that lonely feeling since Lara doesn't speak to Zip and Alister with the headset anymore. It's kinda sad in some levels when you think about the whole story with Lara's mother and the hope she has to find her still alive. I love the mediterranean sea, thailand and mexico levels the most.

I have many great memories with Legend. I remember being 11 years old and seeing the teaser trailers back in 2005, I was HYYYYPED.

I ended up buying the game on release day on the PS2, then a year later I got it on PSP. And I purchased it once more on the Tomb Raider Trilogy HD collection on PS3 back in 2014.

I still think Legend had the best OST out of the entire post-Core era. The reboot games still has great music, especially in Shadow. But I don't think there's been a great, cohesive OST since Legend.

It's very cool to know your stories too, guys. Thanks for sharing! Funny how we still remember details even if it's from 2006!

@xdesperado_ the TRL ost is incredible, right?

I LOVE this Nepal theme! It gives me chills.

This one too:

It's like I teleport myself to that Croft Manor pool, with those awesome sunset lightrays. It's so relaxing and nostalgic...
