samples and tracks volume
Hello how are you?
The engine, by default, has a different volume set for samples and tracks. Tracks are heard louder. This is very noticeable if manually the levels are placed equally. Is it really so? Or maybe the problem is only me. (I hope it is understood. I clarify that I am using google translator) |

This depends mainly on the Music and Sfx volumes you set in the game options. You access it by bringing up the pause screen and going into options, and you can change the respective levels of each individually (you can keep Sfx volume the same, but lower Music volume, for instance).
It is not default for the engine to make music louder, it really depends on the native volumes of the music tracks in question. It can indeed be elevated, so that could be why it overpowers the volume of the sound effects. Anyway you can change these settings for overall volumes of music and sfx as mentioned, in the options. |

Thank you Krystian.
Yes, I know that I can modify the volume levels manually or I can edit the ogg files. But I find it strange that there is so much difference (the native volumes), wel I have tested with the original TR4 music tracks. I'm concerned that players don't modify the respective levels of each individually, well then the listening experience will not be nice. (I hope it is understood. I clarify that I am using google translator) |
