No, because as I said, TLA is a stand-alone game. Owning a copy of TR3 does not give you the right to play TLA.

Would the term abandonware hold in court? I mean, SquExix clearly hold the rights to it, they simply refuse to do something with it and / or comment about it. It's not like the rights holder has gone away, leaving it in copyright limbo.

I think the question isn't so much "would that hold in court?" as it is
"would Square Enix care enough to sue?".

There's something that baffles me when I see it, it is the amount of places where you can download and/or play TR1 freely on the internet (not talking of OpenLara, it requires to have the original game to play). It can be on abandonware sites, or play-old-games-online kind of sites. Maybe Square doesn't know, but considering it's easy to find maybe they just don't care. And it's been on these sites for years, I first noticed this in 2012. So... Who knows if they would care at all? They don't make any money off TLA anyway, unlike TR1.

It is easier to add all PS1 features to PC, rather than porting TLA to PS1. Yeah, bad news that TR3Main is still in plans. Good news that all features from TR2Main are ready to copy into TR3Main.
