I think Ellie is too young to make that decision. So to me it would have been irrelevent what she wanted, no child can take on that burden. I think for that reason alone Joel was right to hide it from her.
As for Joel killing those people who showed no threat, imo he couldn't take the risk. He was on his own, outnumbered and outgunned, and still to find Ellie then make his way out of there. If he left them, he risked them immediately picking up a gun and coming after him, shooting him in the back. It was either that or tie each of them up... he didn't have time. Even leaving the nurses was a risk. They're all part of the FF, I bet the nurses can fight and use weapons when they need to. ----- I've just finished watching the later episodes (6-9). I quite enjoyed episode 7 based on the dlc with Riley. I think that was my favourite out the one's I just watched. The last episode was ok too but I thought the action in the hospital could have been better. I've found throughout all of this that the tension is missing - with human and clicker encounters. I don't know who has directed most of this but I feel they really needed more accomplished directors who specialise in action scenes and creating tension. I think Bella and Pedro did a good job generally but I don't think their chemistry together is great and I still think they'd have done better with a different Ellie. Overall it's a mixed bag for me. There have been some episodes I've really enjoyed (3 and 7), others that were ok, but also some that were just boring. I think it could have been much better, but I'm still glad they made it. |

TLOU season 2 likely to air in late 2024 or 2025
https://www.playstationtrophies.org/...hen-2024-2025/ That's a long time to wait to look for the light, I haven't had to wait that long since there was a very long two year gap between seasons of The Sopranos. |
